The Fields are Ready: Can God use you for the harvest?

7 fold, 700

Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! John 4:35 God wants to pour out revival in our city, in our nation and across the earth, but He is waiting for us to engage. He is waiting for us to stop waiting and start bringing in the harvest. Monday evening Pastor McGrath, Ngahina and some of the Hamilton saints joined our baby church Tauranga for their revival with Evangelist Mick Listing. During this sermon Pastor McGrath’s mind was pointed towards restoration and what he and his wife had personally given up for the gospel. He received the number seven, that things would be restored seven fold and God said that he would be given a word to confirm this. He received an awesome word from Pastor Listing (which you can watch below). He also took from this a vision for our church. A seven fold blessing points to seven hundred people in church, and this is what we are believing God for. But we don’t just want 700 attendees or 700 people filling seats. We want seven hundred disciples. Seven hundred people who are born again and seeking to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives. Seven hundred people living for Jesus. Do we need a supernatural dimension for this to happen, do we need a miracle? - yes. But God does miracles through people who are willing to stand in the gap for Him. Are you ready to be used by God? Pastor McGrath challenged us to ask God what we could do personally to see seven hundred souls coming to church and living for Jesus here in Hamilton. Take up the challenge and ask God and when He answers seek clarification as to what that looks like. For example, if God spoke to you that you need to be in prayer more, ask for more specifics. What does he want you to pray for, what does he want you to pray against, is there anyone in particular that you should be interceding for and if so what should you pray, is there a specific time He would like you to pray or a place? etc. The more we can figure out ‘what it looks like’ the more likely we are able to effectively put it into place in our lives.

Seek God and comment below what you could be doing to see this come about.

(Word of knowledge given by Evangelist Mick Listing to Pastor Scott McGrath)
